Daniel Fiskum writes cinematic lyrics with symbolic depth and angular melodies with intuitive beauty. He composes vertical, heavily textured compositions that come alive inside of four dimensional space.

Like Blood for Music is a collaboration between Fiskum and British producer Simon Husbands. It features analogue and digital music synthesizers, electric guitars and basses, drum machines, a live drummer, and an Estonia Model 190 grand piano. It was recorded to Pro Tools and transferred to 2” reel to reel analogue tape in order obtain the warmth and presence that only analogue recording technology can provide.

Fiskum wrote the lyrics and music. Simon Husbands from Nottingham, England, produced the recording.
